Business, Teaching, Farming…

we all have crops!

Did y’all know that you don’t have to put every phase of your business in place immediately? LOL! You see, I have this extraordinary vision of what the “end” result will be and so I was trying to plant the seeds of every piece of it and grow ALL trees at the same time… I think I was envisioning that all seeds had to grow simultaneously, but that is NOT how it works.

I’m not a farmer or anything, but the way I hear it goes is you have to rotate your crops. You grow one up to full ripen-ness (my word) and then you harvest and grow another. I suppose once you get really good at farming, each season with the “crop” you’ve planted before gets easier and then you find ways/times to bring in new crops and you keep building.

Then you become diversified and learn how to plant insect repelling flowers in with your crops so they will prosper and yield more.

I kept seeing my season in short term, but I am sure there are many wildly nourishing crops out there that take more than a month, or 6 months to really be vibrant and plentiful…

What do you think? talk to me people!

And… good gravy! Doesn’t this sound like a school year? Talk to me! Teachers, what are the tips and tricks you plant like “flowers” to keep the pesky insects from ruining your crop?
