Student Engagement: Are Your Students Listening?

Today we’re talking about upping student engagement in your classroom. Maybe that’s too fancy. It boils down to this: kids aren’t listening! I have seen way too many classrooms where engagement is d-o-w-n. UGH! It breaks my heart. Kids are not engaging with teachers or each other.

There is a solution to this AND even if your management is in place in your room and you’re feeling pretty good about how your students engage with you, I’ll venture to say there is room to improve student-to-student engagement. This one takes the pressure off of you. I love when I can sit back and relax while the kids are attacking the learning with each other.

So, check out the video. Today I’m sharing 3 ways to bring student engagement to life in your classroom.
I’ve heard from a few people they are using these videos in their staff and grade level meetings. That’s awesome! Feel free to share the love. Sharing is caring!
