Hooked on Hallmark?

Hallmark LogoOh boy. This is a first for me. I am “on the road” of course working with teachers- that part isn’t new. But while I’m here in West Virginia I’ve been turning on the TV in my hotel room. That’s where the OH BOY starts. I’ve become addicted to the Hallmark channel’s Christmas movies. Sappy stories with predictable endings.

What’s the attraction to this cheese?

Perhaps it is the mere escape to a world where things like: love, miracles, happy endings, giving, sharing etc. exist in excess. Tell me, who doesn’t need a little more of the good stuff.

Hallmark countdownAt every turn these days I hear tell of “this economy,” “people starving,” “war,” “robbery,” “death and destruction,” “divorce,…” So, cheesy or not, I’m in for more Hallmark Christmas movies. Anyone want to join in for love, miracles, happy endings?

Bring on the wine and crackers ’cause the cheese is available every night from now until Christmas.
